The Dhaka Times Desk Preliminary final and JSC results are published. The ministers of the two ministries have handed over the results of the students of the fifth and eighth class final examination to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the copy of this year's Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) exam results to the Prime Minister in a ceremony at Ganabhaban on Thursday morning. After the education minister, the chairmen of 8 education boards and madrasa boards handed over the copies of the results of each board to the Prime Minister. Now 5.6 lakh students are waiting for the full result.
On the other hand, Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman Fizar handed over the copy of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examination results to the Prime Minister. Later, the Prime Minister inaugurated this year's textbook festival by handing over new books to 17 students.
The pass rate and the number of students who got GPA-5 were announced last year at the Ganobhaban event, but this time it has not been done yet.
It has been informed that at 12:30 PM Primary and Mass Education Minister and 1:30 PM Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will present various aspects of the results through a press conference at the Secretariat. After that press conference basically the students will know the result.
23 lakh 25 thousand 933 students participated in JSC-JDC from last 1 to 18 November. Then from 22nd to 30th November 32 lakh 54 thousand 514 students took part in the preliminary and final exam.
The result will be known on mobile
The results of primary and secondary school can be known from Directorate of Primary Education (www.dpe.gov.bd) and Teletalk website (http://dpe.teletalk.com.bd).
Besides, students can know the result by writing DPE and then entering the police station/upazila code number with a space and then writing the roll number with a space and then writing 2015 with a space and sending an SMS to 16222.
On the other hand, for Ibtedayi result, write EBT and write police station/upazila code number with space, write roll number with space, then write 2015 with space and send SMS to 16222 to know the result.
First 5 digits of EMIS code number of government or registered private primary school should be used as upazila/ police station code while writing this SMS; Which can be known from the website of Directorate of Primary Education, concerned District Primary Education Office, Upazila/Thana Education Office and Primary Schools.
Besides the website of the education boards www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, students can know the result of JSC-JDC from the website of the respective board.
It is known from media sources that if you write JSC/JDC from any mobile, write the first 3 letters of your board name with a space, write the roll number with a space, then write 2015 with a space, but the result will be informed in the return SMS.
