The Dhaka Times Desk A person took a selfie with the plane hijacker! A British airline passenger has caused a stir on social media by taking a selfie with the man accused of hijacking the plane.
Ben Innis, the British young passenger, says that he was interested in taking the picture with the intention of taking a clearer picture of the suicide vest or suicide device tied to the hijacker's body. He also claimed that he tried his best to remain cheerful even in such hostile environment. The hijacker threatened a suicide bomb and forced the flight from Alexandria to Cairo to land in Cyprus. However, after the arrest of the accused Saif Eldin Mustafa, it was found that the suicide bomb incident was completely fabricated.
Although the photo was handed over by an airman. However, Ben Innis has commented that this picture is his 'best selfie' ever. In that photograph, it can be seen that this passenger of the plane is standing with a smiling face with the hijacker. Later this picture went viral on social media.
Note that Egypt's MS 181 flight was going from Alexandria to Cairo with 56 passengers. En route, Seif Eldin Mustafa forced the plane to be diverted and landed in Cyprus.
