The Dhaka Times Desk Moushumi Hamid or bloodsucker! You may be surprised to hear this. Popular small and big screen actress Moushumi Hamid will be seen on screen in a different role this time.
Moushumi Hamid is playing the role of Raktchosha (i.e. Vampire) in this Eid's special drama 'Laili Majnu 2016' directed by Raonak Hasan. Scenery work of the play has already been completed at Srimangal in Sylhet.
Moushumi said about her different character, 'Here my character's name is Tabu. I'm a vampire (bloodsucker). This is the first time I have acted in such a role. Ronak Bhaiyya is in a similar role with me. I really enjoyed working on this drama. Because this character is a little different. I hope everyone will like this drama.
The story of the play is about Laili-Majnu i.e. a couple. Richie Solaiman and Intekhab Dinar played Laili and Majnu. They went to a resort in Srimangal for their honeymoon. After getting there, they encountered some ghostly events. Various events started happening. Anisur Rahman Milan also acted in the drama. Interestingly, it is being produced by him. The drama 'Laili-Majnu 2016' will be aired on Banglavision next Eid.
