The authorities of Vadodara Jame Masjid in the Indian state of Gujarat have claimed that the world's largest Quran Sharif is kept in their mosque. But they did not reveal how and why the Quran is the largest in the world.
This Quran Sharif at Jame Masjid in Gujarat is printed on Scotland paper. Its page number is 632. Its weight is 800 kg. The edition is 150x200 cm. The cover of this Konan is also studded with precious stones.
This mosque is famous from the east for Indian team cricketers Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan. Their father Mahmud Khan Pathan was the Muazzin of this mosque.
They said that they are taking necessary measures to register this Quran in the Jama Masjid of Gujarat in the world record.
It should be noted that till now the Quran preserved in Kul Sharif Mosque in Kazan area of Russia is recorded in the Guinness World Record as the largest Quran in the world.
