The Dhaka Times Desk The admission test schedule for the academic year 2016-17 has been fixed at the same time for Rajshahi University (RAB) and Chittagong University (CHB). Due to this, the admission candidates are in trouble.
Meanwhile, the two university authorities have raised counter-complaints about scheduling.
It is known that the admission test has been scheduled from October 24 to 27 in Rajshahi University and October 23 to 31 in Chittagong University. Among them, the examination of the Faculty of Arts in Rajshahi University will be held on October 26 in two shifts from 9 am to 10 am and 11 am to 12 pm.
On the other hand, the admission test of Arts Faculty in Chittagong will be held on October 26 at 10:30 am. That's why students have to choose any one university if the examination of the same unit is held on the same day. The exam of other faculties is also the same. Because of this, it will be almost impossible for a candidate to participate in the examination in Chabi and participate in the examination in Rabi.
Several admitted students have complained that the examination will be held at the same time in the two universities. Test again on the same day in a unit. I don't really understand which one to prefer between these two universities.
According to research, Rajshahi University published the admission test schedule on June 18. On the other hand Chittagong University published on June 27.
Chittagong University acting registrar Professor Kamrul Huda said, we have published the exam schedule earlier. So there is no chance to change our exam schedule.
On the other hand, when asked about this, Rajshahi University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Muhammad Mizanuddin said, "We have announced the admission test time earlier. As such they should have coordinated with us. They did so in the previous year as well. We informed them but they did not listen.
