The Dhaka Times Desk CNG filling station owners are going on an indefinite strike from October 30. The strike has been called to fulfill a three-point demand, including canceling the decision to extend the unusual lease of the Roads and Highways Department.
Bangladesh CNG Filling Station and Conversion Workshop Owners Association announced this program at a press conference in the capital yesterday (October 26). CNG filling station owners-representatives were also present in this press conference.
In the press conference, the president of the organization, Masud Khan, said that we have been making demands to the government for the last few years to sustain this sector. However, no effective action is being taken by the government in this regard. There is no response from the government.
The president of the organization said that the CNG filling stations across the country will observe a continuous strike from 6 am on October 30 until the demand is met.
