BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's court appearance in the corruption case, Wednesday afternoon, there was a massive clash between Chhatra Dal and Chhatra League in Bakshibazar area. Police fired several rounds of blank bullets and tear shells to bring the situation under control. The police dispersed the attackers by baton. In such a situation, the car carrying Begum Khaleda Zia entered the court premises. He also appeared in court.
On the other hand, the workers of BNP started protesting outside by burning tires on the road. A black microbus was also set on fire in front of Dhaka Medical. At that time, protests spread to Palashi Mor, Nazim Uddin Road, Dhaka University area, Chan Khar Pul Mor and surrounding areas. Meanwhile, the Chhatra Dal workers, dispersed by police lathicharge, entered various buildings in the vicinity. From there they started throwing bricks and stones at the police.
