The Dhaka Times Desk The most sacred river in India is the Ganga. Thousands of notes of 500 and 1000 Indian rupees are floating in the river Ganges! Recently the Government of India announced the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.
Indians are struggling to exchange 500 and 1000 rupee notes after demonetisation. The bank line is blocking the highway. Due to the difficulty of collecting toll due to note problem, huge traffic jam has been created on the road.
Uttar Pradesh police said the notes were found in the Ganges by locals while taking a bath. However, due to floating in water for a long time, the numbers of the notes become blurred.
News of the notes floating in the water has drawn a crowd of curious people. Someone takes it again and lets it dry in the sun on the boat. The police have been sent there to deal with such a situation.
It should be noted that to prevent black money, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi suddenly announced the cancellation of 500 and 1000 rupee notes in his address to the nation on the night of November 8.
