The Dhaka Times Desk NASA has warned that an asteroid is heading towards Earth. And if it strikes, mankind will be destroyed and nothing can stop it.
NASA Goddard Space Flight Center researcher Dr. Joseph Nath says that, 'An asteroid is steadily approaching the earth. If it collides with Earth, mankind will be destroyed.'
Experts believe that an extinction-level asteroid could hit Earth at any time. About 5 and a half to 6 million years ago, the last dominant species of dinosaurs on earth disappeared due to the impact of this asteroid!
In an event with nuclear scientists, Joseph Nath presented his data and said, 'Humans are not at all prepared for this wonderful asteroid or comet.'
The event presented how this asteroid is a cosmic menace and is heading towards Earth. The NASA scientist also said, 'The biggest problem is that we can't do anything about it at the moment.'
Joseph also noted that large and dangerous asteroids and comets occasionally explode in Earth's sky and crash into the Earth's surface. On the other hand, some are on the verge of extinction, much like the asteroid that killed the dinosaur species. This species became extinct 5 to 6 million years ago. Comets travel far away from Earth, and sometimes fall around.
