According to media reports, an island is located near La Rochelle on the West Coast of France. This island called Ile-de-Re or Rea is one of the best places to visit for tourists especially during summer. With the gentle winds, relatively low tide, sandy sea-beaches and cold Konkan weather, many people go to Rea Island to swim.
According to Anandabazar newspaper, the attraction of this place is not confined only to the weather and nature. There is one more interesting thing. And that is that most of the people in this island trade in salt. That salt is carried from the sea by mules or donkeys. Donkeys are kept in pajamas! But why? However, nothing was said about that in the news.
