Bangladeshi engineer's new technology Chevrolet 'Bolt' has been selected as the best car in North America (2017). General Motors' Bolt is an all-electric vehicle. This car can run for 238 miles (383 km) on a single charge. Currently, in the world of electric cars, no car manufacturer has been able to achieve such a distance record at such a low price. In terms of price, this car is within the middle class purchasing range, the company said.
Bolt's 'Car of the Year' was announced at the North American Auto Show in Detroit on January 9. The Bolt has previously bagged the 'Motor Trend Car of the Year' and 'Green Car of the Year' titles at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
A significant number of Bangladeshi engineers worked in the design, development, manufacturing and launch of this award-winning vehicle. Their contributions are worth mentioning. Bangladeshi engineers also won the best research paper award. Owned a patent, something to be proud of.
