The Dhaka Times Desk Grameenphone (GP) jointly launched credit card with Standard Chartered Bank. The card has joint branding of Grameenphone-Standard Chartered.
It is known that Grameenphone's Platinum Plus and Platinum Star postpaid customers will get the card of Signature Star and Platinum Star category.
According to Grameenphone, customers will also get additional reward points, access to Dhaka International Airport's Balaka Executive Line and access to priority lounges at various airports around the world through the credit card.
Not only that, you will also get various features and benefits in the case of buying a handset from Grameenphone, an opportunity to eat a buffet for two for the price of one person in the luxurious hotels of the country, prevent outgoing calls from being cut off by activating the auto debit option.
Standard Chartered Bank Chief Executive Officer Abrar A. Anwar said, 'Unveiling this innovative credit card in collaboration with Grameenphone is really a great thing. This will take the banking and telecom sector to new heights. We are committed to ensuring that customers get the best use of credit cards and enjoy the benefits in a different way.'

Note that this is the first time that a mobile phone operator has launched a branded credit card in association with a bank in the country.
