The Dhaka Times Desk The process of bringing all activities on Facebook Live during the National Parliament session has started. Due to the popularity of Facebook in the country, this program is being launched on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
It is known that a Facebook account has already been opened in the name of the Parliament to bring all the proceedings of the National Parliament to Facebook Live.
In this regard, the Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak told the media that after broadcasting some programs live on Facebook, an incredible response has been received. Apart from watching the show there, Facebook users can post their comments. They can tell about their likes and dislikes. That is why the Prime Minister has ordered live broadcasting of the proceedings of the Parliament in the 15th session of the Parliament. It is currently in the process of implementation.
The IT branch of the Jatiya Sangsad said that the programs recorded by the cameras of the Sangsad TV will be broadcast live on Facebook. However, not in the upcoming budget session, the activities will be telecasted directly from the following sessions.
Honorable Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said that there is no objection if the proceedings of the Parliament are conducted on Facebook, but if this is done, the people will know more about what is happening in the Parliament.
