The Dhaka Times Desk The joint production movie 'Dub' directed by Mustafa Sarayar Farooqui has been stuck in the Censor Board for a long time. After getting the clearance, it will be released simultaneously in Bangladesh and India, the makers said.
On May 21, producer Farooqui wrote on Facebook that, since we have not given any update on 'Dub' for a long time, some wrong information is being spread! Dub is considered by the Bangladesh Censor Board! And we are waiting for the censor clearance of the film which is fully compliant with all clauses of censor policy!
Farooqui also wrote on Facebook that the film has not yet been submitted to the censors in India! As a result, it is better not to listen to the story of 'uncertainty in India'. According to the release plan, the film's censor certificate will be taken from there as soon as it is time! Producers in India are also waiting for Bangladesh censor certificate to release together in India and Bangladesh!
Farooqui also wrote on Facebook that, soon you will know the update of the picture! You will see the picture made for you!”
Irrfan Khan, Nusrat Imroz Tisha, Rokeya Prachi and Parno Mitra have acted in the movie 'Dub' produced under the banner of Jazz Multimedia and SK Movies.
It should be noted that the movie 'Dub' started a lot of criticism. The censor board alleged that the personal story of the late popular poet Humayun Ahmed has been included in the film.
