In the month of Ramadan, the great Rabbul Alamin has given many virtues. In this month, extra reward is available in every case, i.e. prayer, recitation of the Qur'an, asking for zikr. For example, if you donate one taka in this month, you get 70 times the reward, that is, if you donate one taka in this month, you get the same reward as donating 70 taka. If one rakat nafal prayer is offered in this month, 70 rakats of namaz will be rewarded. Thus, in this month of Ramadan, the great Rabbul Alamin has given mercy in every case. There is a slight difference between the intention of fasting during the month of Ramadan and other fasting. The intention of the obligatory fasting of the month of Ramadan can be done in the period before midday i.e. before 12 noon. Apart from the obligatory fasts of the month of Ramadan, the intention of other fasts must be done before 'Subhe Sadiq' i.e. during or before the time of Sehri. Because, the obligatory fast of the month of Ramadan is fixed and obligatory; And other fasts do not have a fixed time or they are not mandatory mandatory obligatory duties like fasting in the month of Ramadan.

Etiquette of fasting

There are 7 manners of fasting, which play a helpful role in accepting the fast.

The intention of fasting

'Nawaitu an achuma gadam min shahri Ramadanal mubarki fardballaka ya Allahu fataqbabbal minni innaka angtas samiul alim'

O Allah! I intend to fast on your behalf tomorrow in the holy month of Ramadan, so accept it on my behalf, surely you are the All-Hearing and the All-Knowing.

Bengali meaning: O Allah! I am fasting for Your pleasure and I am breaking the fast with Your sustenance.

O Allah Ta'ala, I am ending the fast in the month of Ramadan according to your prescribed law and I am starting Iftar with the hope of mercy. Then you should break the fast by saying “Bismillahi wa'ala Barakatillah”.
