Defense experts said that the introduction of the Type 055 has left India far behind China in naval power. India has taken up the largest warship 15B 'Visakhapatnam' project so far. However, it has not yet come into the hands of the Navy.

It has been said that the weight of 15B 'Visakhapatnam' will be 8 thousand 200 tons if fully armed. This warship can carry 50 air-to-air missiles. Besides, Visakhapatnam can also attack ships and land. It is clear that the Visakhapatnam is no match for the Type 055 warship.

Meanwhile, this type 055 warship of China has a powerful radar. This radar system will be effective for precise hitting of targets at sea, land or air.

Note that since March 2014, China has handed over 5 52D destroyers to the Navy. In terms of power they are equivalent to Visakhapatnam series in India. Just when India could not bring even one such warship, China will hand over 18 ships to the navy.
