According to sources from the Ministry of Education, this year (2017) JSC and JDC exams will be held in 2 thousand 834 exam centers across the country.
This year a total of 24 lakh 68 thousand 820 candidates from 28 thousand 628 educational institutions are participating in these two exams. Among them, the number of students is 11 lakh 44 thousand 778 male and 13 lakh 24 thousand 42 female students.
Compared to last year, the number of examinees has increased by a little over 56,000. For this reason, the number of examination centers has also been increased to 100.
This year, 659 students are appearing for the JSC and JDC exams at a total of 9 centers in Saudi Arabia, Libya, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Oman outside Bangladesh.
This year it has been informed that it is compulsory for the candidates to appear at the center 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Candidates with disabilities will get an additional 20 minutes this time. Moreover, the visually impaired, cerebral palsy and those without hands can take the test with the audio recorder. This exam will end on November 17. The result will be declared by December 30.
