The Dhaka Times Desk The world-renowned technology company Samsung is bringing a mobile phone that will have passwords in the palm of your hand!
South Korean company Samsung has applied for a patent that can use the palm as a biometric identification system. In that application, it will be possible to identify the smartphone user by scanning the palm. Samsung is going to add such technology to their future Galaxy series of phones.
That is, those who forget the password can unlock the smartphone with their fingerprint. The patent application shows a man photographing his hand to retrieve his own forgotten password. By looking at the picture of the hand, it gives an idea about the password instead of entering it completely on the screen.
Technology analysts have commented that the addition of palm scanning to Galaxy phones will add another method to the list of biometric identification methods.
It should be noted that currently Samsung has provided security measures for fingerprint scanning, Irish scanning, facial recognition, PIN and password in their Galaxy S8 and Note 8 smartphones.
A new level of security will be added if Samsung introduces palm scanning.
