Reshma was working on the third floor of Rana Plaza for one and a half years. Reshma is the daughter of Ansar Ali of Maglishpur village of Ghoraghat upazila of Dinajpur. After the death of her father 10/12 years ago, Reshma's mother Jobeda Bewa started living with her two sons and two daughters in Kashigari village of the same upazila after demolishing the village house. They spend their days in extreme financial hardship. Jobeda Bewa, unable to bear the pressure of this shortage, sent her two daughters Asma and Reshma to Dhaka to work in garments. Asma joins another garment and Reshma joins Rana Plaza Garments.
Today at least one Reshma of Bangladesh is going to be established by getting a job in a five star hotel. Maybe a day will come when there will be no more helpless people in Bangladesh - at least we pray that.
