Many times it is seen that while running the app on the smartphone, the annoying ads are not stopped even when trying to stop them. Perhaps you have installed malicious adware programs on your smartphone without your knowledge. Google Playstore has several such malicious apps. Experts at Israeli cyber security firm Check Point listed 22 flashlight and task apps as adware.
They call the apps in the Google Play Store as Lightsout. They have been downloaded from 15 to 75 million times. Experts suggest uninstalling the listed apps quickly.
According to Check Point researchers, the apps contain suspicious scripts, which ignore the user's decision to show ads illegally. Moreover, the icon is also hidden so that the app cannot be removed easily.
