The Dhaka Times Desk As the number of diabetes patients is increasing in the present day, there is no end to worry about diabetes. Hesitation while eating something sweet. But now there is nothing to worry about. Because this smart watch will tell the symptoms of diabetes!
You can detect the early symptoms of diabetes at home from now on. Apple's smartwatch called 'Apple Watch' will make this opportunity possible. The results of a test conducted by a company called Cardiogram using one of their software to collect the heart rate with the help of 'Apple Watch' have been published recently.
Researchers in association with the University of California, San Francisco conducted the experiment using the Cardiogram DeepHeart Neural Network. In tests, the Apple Watch was reported to be 85 percent successful in differentiating between those with and without diabetes.
Cardiograms of 14,011 participants used more than 20 million sensors to conduct this test. Participants use the Cardiogram app with their Apple Watch or Android wearable device. With this, the final result is determined by combining the heart rate, the number of steps taken for movement and some relevant information.
Early diabetes is often underdiagnosed and underdiagnosed due to the need for glucometers in conventional methods of detection. However, like Cardiogram's DeepHeart, the 'Apple Watch' and artificial intelligence-based algorithms are supposed to alert users. They have health problems. Due to which user can take necessary action.
Because the pancreas is connected to the heart through the nervous system, it is possible to detect the symptoms of diabetes from heart rhythm abnormalities. That is why wearable devices like the Apple Watch have great potential to diagnose high blood pressure, insomnia and heart disease through sensors, the report said.
