It is known that Swastika Mukherjee was supposed to act in Birsa Dasgupta's next film 'Criscross', but she eventually withdrew. Now Jaya Ahsan is acting there instead of Swastika. Producer Shrikant Mohta recommended the heroine for this role.
The film's director Birsa Dasgupta himself clarified the matter. Raima Sen or Tanushree! Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan is acting in the film 'Criscross'.
But Swastika was the director's first choice for this role. However, Swastika did not say that there is not much emphasis in the character. Then Jaya was selected. The director said that, 'Srikanthada (Mohta) first offered the film to Jaya for this role. Then Jayar spoke to me.' At present, the shooting floor is working on 'criscross' shooting.
Pritam is in charge of the music direction of the film. He congratulated the entire team by tweeting. The director himself is excited about it. He also said, 'The screenplay has been changed a lot from what it was in the initial stage. After talking to Swastika, I reworked that character many times.'
If the news inside Taliganj is all right, maybe 'Criscross' will be released during the upcoming Puja. However, the release date of the film is not fixed yet.
