The Dhaka Times Desk The nomination list for the world's most prestigious award in film, the Academy Awards or Oscar, has been announced. This year, the names of the nominated films and crews for the 92nd Academy Awards were announced on January 13.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscar) will give awards in total of 24 categories including Best Movie, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Documentary. The nomination list has been finalized by the votes of the concerned in each category.
It is known that the award will be handed over to the winners in a grand ceremony on February 9 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
