For those who are working at home, they can create an environment like an office desk at home, so that every employee will be given an additional 1,000 US dollars (Bangladeshi approximately 85,000 taka) by the Facebook authorities.
A Facebook spokesperson said, 'Based on advice from the US government and health experts and internal discussions at our company to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, it has been decided that our employees will be able to work from home until July 2021.'
In an e-mail message sent to employees, the authority said that 'an additional US$ 1,000 grant will be given to employees in addition to their salary to carry out essential office work at home.'
The Facebook authority also said that in the areas where the government has given permission and where the corona infection has been decreasing regularly for the past two months, we will start the process of opening our offices gradually. But of course the office will be run according to the rules.
It is also said that by the end of this year, our company will start opening offices in America and Latin America.
Earlier, at the end of last July, the tech-giant Google announced that all their employees will be able to work from home till June 30, 2021. Twitter, on the other hand, has allowed its employees to work from home indefinitely.
