When asked whether there is any impact on the politics of Bangladesh based on who came to power in the United States, Professor Imtiaz said that, 'If Donald Trump comes to power, what was happening will happen. When Biden comes to power, he will have to be busy overcoming the damage that Trump has done to the US, especially the economy and image. That's why they won't have much time to think about the outside world.'
According to Professor Imtiaz, the United States itself is currently lagging far behind in democracy, human rights and tolerance. Therefore, he expressed doubts about when they will be able to talk about the democracy and human rights of other countries in the future. Professor Imtiaz said, 'Bangladesh should just keep a cool head and maintain the development.'
On the other hand, Shahidul Haque said, 'If Biden comes to power, the United States will think about globalization. But that takes time. Bangladesh will benefit from his thinking.'
