It is heard that they will seek political asylum in some other country from Pakistan. 81 people reached Pakistan through Torkham border. Another 34 are scheduled to leave on Thursday. Pakistan Football Federation official Umar Zia said that they will go to another country within a month. Afghanistan's youth women's team is at the Gaddafi Sports Complex in Lahore, Pakistan.
Pakistan welcomed the Afghan women's football team after arriving in Pakistan. In this regard, Noman Nadeem of Pakistan Football Federation said in a tweet that they have shown visas and valid Afghanistan passports while entering Pakistan. He did not say anything more.
It should be noted that the Taliban captured Kabul on August 15. Since then, Afghanistan's female players have been leaving the country one after another. The former captain of the women's football team said to burn sports equipment and remove all identities from online media.
