This conference which started on August 26 will continue till August 28. The conference is being held to celebrate 75 years of Edinburgh as a 'Festival City'. KM Khalid, the State Minister of the Ministry of Culture, is representing Bangladesh at this biggest stage of world-cultural exchange.

The conference is being held as a unique global opportunity to encourage positive change and lasting impact through cultural policy and investment. The theme of this year's conference is highlighting one of the most important issues of our time - culture and a sustainable future.

The Sixth Edinburgh International Cultural Conference is partnered with the British Council, Edinburgh International Festival, Parliament of Scotland and the Governments of Scotland and the United Kingdom. World famous artists, influencers and culture ministers of different countries participated in the conference. KM Khalid, Minister of State for Cultural Affairs, is leading the delegation of Bangladesh in the cultural conference. The delegation of Bangladesh also includes Kazi Nurul Islam, Deputy Secretary of the Culture Exchange Wing of the Ministry of Culture and Nahin Idris, Head of Arts of the British Council.

During the three-day conference at the Scottish Parliament, Culture and Freedom, Culture and Education and Culture and Sustainability address cultural, social, environmental and political conflicts around the world; These issues will be discussed.
