The 3D version of the film 'Avatar', which created a worldwide response, is going to be released at Star Cineplex in Dhaka. Tomorrow Friday, the film is releasing in this one of the multiplex cinemas in the country. Earlier, two-D version of this film was released in Star Cineplex.
This time, Star Cineplex authorities are giving an opportunity for the audience to watch the film in three-dimensional technology.
James Cameron, the famous director of 'Titanic', made this film with decades of dreams and more than 4 years. Immediately after its release on 16 December 2009, the film won the hearts of crores of viewers and rocked the box office.
Mezbahuddin Ahmed, media and marketing officer of Star Cineplex told the media that the premium show of 'Avatar' 3D will be held on Thursday at 7 pm, but the general audience will be able to watch it from Friday. Earlier, the '2D' version of this epic science fiction and action film was released at Star Cineplex.
Note that the production of this film, one of the most expensive in Hollywood history, cost 237 million dollars. Apart from being a massive commercial success, the film has already bagged awards in three categories at the 82nd Academy Awards.
