The Dhaka Times Desk Today (Monday) Higher Secondary Certificate HSC and equivalent exams are starting across the country. All preparations have already been completed.
This time the HSC and equivalent exams under 10 education boards will start from April 2 and continue till May 13.
A total of 13 lakh 11 thousand 457 candidates are participating in the HSC and equivalent exams this year. Compared to last year, 1 lakh 27 thousand 771 candidates have increased this year. Among them, the number of male students is 6 lakh 92 thousand 730 and the number of female students is 6 lakh 18 thousand 728.
According to the circular of the Ministry of Education, strict restrictions have been imposed on the entrance of candidates to the center, restrictions on the use of mobile phones or electronic devices, receipt of question papers from treasury, police station, bank security and transportation to the center and the entry of others except the candidates and persons related to the examination to the examination center.
It has already been informed that the Ministry of Education will centrally determine the set of questions through lottery 25 minutes before the start of the examination and that the examination will be conducted with identical questions in all the boards. It is also informed that multiple sets of questions will be delivered to each center.
Still, teachers and students are worried about question gaps. The leakers have already started posting various posts on social media. It is said in the news media that some are announcing to ask questions or some are posting asking for questions. Many students are also responding to these posts.
Meanwhile, it is said that all kinds of measures have been taken so that this year's HSC examination is completed smoothly.
