But customers face various problems at these ATM booths including card jamming, network issues, cash not being withdrawn, fake torn notes coming out of the booth and not having cash in the booth. Many customers have faced such problems in ATM booths of most banks in the country. Apart from this, there are many complaints about the safety and environment of the booth.
However, despite thousands of such complaints, no proper solution has been found yet. At present there are about 6000 ATM booths in our country. And under online banking almost every customer is currently enjoying the benefits of ATM card. Today we will know what to do if your debit or credit card is stuck at the ATM booth-
First inform the guard at the ATM booth and tell the guard to write down the time and your details in the registered book there. Then take the signature of the guard on a separate paper stating that your card is stuck in this booth.
Now from there go to the concerned bank and inform them about the matter. Then inform them about issuing new card. They will issue you a new card within a week at most.
