But many people want to explore the country, and the sights of neighboring countries, in backpacking style, even if it is a little difficult. Manali Ladakh travel, sharing a tour plan. This is not a luxurious tour plan. The budget is low but the trouble is high.

Dhaka to Benapole non AC bus fare 500/. There is less jam at immigration in the morning. So quickly cross the border with 500/travel tax. Try not to pay even if the customs officer asks for extra money. Buy Indian SIM for Rs 100-150. Go to Bongaon train station with 30 rupees. Sheyaldah bought the ticket with 20 rupees and left. Morning trains are more crowded. Shealdah-Howrah bus fare is Rs.8.
Howrah to Delhi Purba Train sleeper ticket 900/ Rs. Eat and drink on the train. Train tickets are cheaper if booked in advance. Non AC Manali bus ticket from Delhi is Rs.600. There are some Bengali hotels in Manali that are cheap. Hotel Chandan, Neelkamal can accommodate 2 people for 400 rupees. You can travel to Manali by Solang Valley local bus. Can do paragliding, cable ride. Food Non Veg Thali 80-120 Rs. Veg Thali Rs 50-70. Non AC bus fare from Manali to Leh is Rs.800. There is a 1 night halt at Kelong in between. On the way to Leh Ladakh one will pass 5 more mountain passes including Rothang Pass. If you want winter clothes, you can rent them from Manali.
There are many homestays in Leh Ladakh ranging from Rs 200-250. 600 rupees from Ladakh District Magistrate office for permission. You can visit Pangong Lake, Changla Pass, Khardungla Pass, Nubravalley in Ladakh.
Leh day trip takes 1500-1700 rupees by car, car is four or six seater, divided accordingly, also for going to Turtuk, Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake from Leh is 2500-3500 rupees per head, home stay with two meals per head. Head 500-600 rupees, camel safari at Nubra costs 300-500 rupees, other times meals cost 100-150 rupees.
Even if you can't go in a group, there are shared taxis, motor bikes available.

- Manali-Leh Ladakh road is closed for about 6-8 months of the year. April-September is good time. Kolkata to Leh train + bus fare - 900 + 1400 + 1400 + 900 = 4600 rupees, two nights in Manali and 3 nights in Leh = 1000 rupees, food per day 230 rupees = 2300 rupees
- This budget is only for basic tour. If you want to go to any adventure activities / additional places, the cost may increase.
- There are 5 high altitude mountain passes on the Manali-Leh route. So be careful for altitude issues.
- Here I am not talking about any package tour of 10-12 days. I have detailed the daily expenses and how to travel on a budget. This time you can compare how many days you will stay, budget accordingly.
