And sitting on the front deck or roof of the launch on the night of the full moon, Chandra Abgahan may seem like the best night of a thousand years to you. The silvery light of the moon reflecting on the water and the sound of the launch hull cutting the water will take you to a different world. No, I'm not making this up at all. Let's find out how to go.
Currently there is a launch from Lal Kuthi Ghat of Dhaka Sadarghat from 6 am and the next launch is Sonartari at 7.20 am.
Then from 8.00, 8.35, 9.15, 9.50, 10.50, 11.45 to 12.30 night the launch left for Chandpur. You will see CNG, auto rickshaws as soon as you come out of Chandpur launch ghat. Ride a CNG or autorickshaw to the big station (station park) fare 10 taka, drop off in front of the tourist center. The place is still under construction. But when finished it will be quite a beautiful place. There is a sculpture called Raktadhara which you can see in the photo. There you will find chatpoti, fuska, egg, muridi for light breakfast.
District tourist center is a good place to sit and chat. An hour and a half can easily be spent.
But you have to get up and leave the hut because you have to go to the most beautiful place of Chandpur crossing the estuary of three rivers. And the boat trip is guaranteed to be memorable. (Wear Life Jacket provided by Chandpur District Administration)

Now, your stomach will rumble. Go to the nearest rice hotel. You will get rice, fish, chicken. You can eat fried hilsa fish and small river fish curry, with potatoes and pulses. I will like it very much. We fried 1 hilsa 3 pieces live for 100 taka. You can eat well between 200-250 per person.
After eating and drinking, go straight to the railway station, if you like the train, watch it, if not, take a picture, chat, you will like the place. Besides, you can eat one minute ice cream (from a place called Kalibari).
This time it's time to return, come to the launch ghat until the night the launch leaves for Dhaka, dress up as you like.
Those who want to go in the morning and return in the afternoon can return at 3.40 pm, 5.00 pm, or 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm launch.
