The Dhaka Times Desk This Gulyakhali beach is located in the estuary in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong. The tiny soil is like a green island. This beach is known as Muradpur Sea Beach to the locals. A unique paradise to enjoy nature in mind.
This beach will definitely give a little relief to the busyness, traffic jam and hectic life of the city. Gulyakhali beach is unearthly peaceful. Its fascination lasts for a long time. A large field and a garden without rows of trees. The sea on one side and Keoraban on the other make this sea beach incomparable. Roots of Keora trees can be seen around the canals that run through the Keorabans.
Guliakhali Sea Beach is differentiated by the green carpet of broad grass. Lying on the green grass, the sound of the ocean waves and the coolness of the air, which will give you a different kind of tranquility. The open wilderness of green grass will surely catch your eye.
In this field of green grass next to the beach, there are naturally formed crooked canals. All these canals are filled with water during the tides. Green grass around and water in small streams in between, this scene will fascinate anyone.
At low tide, Sea Beach looks a lot like Cox's Bazar beach. You can sit on the beach and take pictures or watch the sunset. And when the tidal water enters the forest, the scene is different. One can sit and soak feet in the green Khop Khop Par, which has become quite famous as the trademark sight of Guliyakhali.
The most interesting thing is that the people of this area are very mixed nature. They will talk to you a lot even if you don't want to talk. In short, it's simple. You can visit this sea beach without fear.
On the way back from the beach we can hire a boat. Then you can visit the mangrove forest along the canal by boat. The boat will also take a turn from the canal into the sea. While visiting the mangrove forest by boat, you will feel as if you are in the Sundarbans. Don't know before you go what an incredibly beautiful beach is waiting for you. So keeping the environment clean is our moral responsibility.
Meals:
There is no food facility here. However, the shopkeepers expect you to give them some gratuity by eating whatever tea, bread is available. Because this is their livelihood. So you have to come back to Sitakunda market to eat or you can buy food on arrival.
How to go:
From anywhere you have to come to Sitakunda city. CNG can be found by going down a little on the left side of the road towards Dhaka. 30 per person will be charged. And if you want to go to reserve, 100 to 150 taka. CNG will let you down when the embankment comes. From there, if you want to graze on the ocean, you can board the fishermen's boat here. You can travel at a fairly cheap price. If you want, you can walk to the sea. It will take maximum 15 minutes.
B. Dr Please do not throw non-perishable items like polythene, water bottles, chips packets etc. into the sea. And of course, don't even think about carrying any kind of coral, snails, oysters, etc.
