Zamindar Gobindram Shah built Baliati Zamindarbari in the middle of eighteenth century. Baliati Zamindarbari is situated on about five acres of land. The entire area of the zamindarbari is surrounded by a high wall. It consists of seven palatial buildings, containing a total of 200 rooms. There are five large buildings named Purba Bari, West, North, Madhya and Golabari. Various crafts and statues can be seen on the front walls of the main buildings. There are four entrances in the wall in front of the buildings. At the top of the four entrances are four stone lions. There is a large pond behind the buildings. There are six ghats around the pond.

Pakutiya Zamindarbari:

Nagarpur Upazila of Tangail is located on the banks of the ancient Lauhjong River. In the 19th century, Calcutta, India had a direct trade connection with the Nagarpur area through the Yamuna River. The famous 'Chawdhury' clan of Nagarpur emerged from the hand of Subidha Khan of Nagarpur in the late 19th century and early Mughal period. Ramakrishna Saha Mandal came from Calcutta following the path of Subidha Khan. On April 15, 1915, three mahals were built in the same design on three acres of land. This North House of Delduar Upazila is a palace of extraordinary beauty. In front of the North House there is a well-built Pond Ghat. Jame Masjid with seven domes made by Barobhuiyas can be seen in front of the palace. You can pray here and witness history. How to go:

First, from Gabtali bus stand, take SB link bus to Saturia in Manikganj, the fare is Tk 70. CNG autorickshaw fare from Saturia to Baliati Zamindarbari is Tk 10 per person. Baliati Zamindarbari entrance ticket price is 20 taka for adults, 5 taka for children. Baliati Zamindarbari is closed on Sundays. The distance from this zamindarbari to Pakutia zamindarbari is eight kilometers. You have to go by CNG auto rickshaw, fare 20 taka. There is no entry fee for Pakutiya Zamindarbari. To go to North House from Pacutia, you have to take an autorickshaw to Delduar, the fare is Rs.60 per person. North House does not charge an entry fee. But you have to get permission to enter. Can't go wrong on Friday at North House.

You don't have to worry about food, if you want you can have lunch from the bazaar adjacent to Baliati Zamindarbari. Or you can have lunch at Sikdar Hotel and Restaurant in Pakutia Bazar next to Pakutia Zamindarbari.
