From shopping to communicating with far-off people in a very short period of time, all tasks including video calling, audio calling, news can be done by smart phone. Recently it is possible to do various banking activities in the banking stock market. Applications or mobile apps are used to make smart phones smarter. By using all these mobile applications we can work as we like.
As a result of using these mobile applications, malware viruses or harmful programs can be installed on our mobile phone or smart phone, which can make our phone useless or cause various problems in the phone's software. Recently these harmful viruses are spread in our phones through Play Store in various apps. All these applications can completely attack our phone and take control of our phone and besides make our phone useless. As a result of using these apps, the possibility of stealing personal information of our phone increases tremendously. If our phone is used for banking and this virus infects our phone then our mobile money can run out anytime this is an act against cyber security.
A total of twenty-four apps have been mentioned so far, according to the CSIS research report. The names of these apps were found after monitoring by cyber security agencies. Which can easily infect our phone with malware. Among these apps, a malicious malware called Joker is found which can be tested and collected from the Google Play Store. All these malwares have recently spread all over the world and already this malware is found in 500,000 devices, which has become very dangerous, according to the researchers.
Joker is a very deadly malware that can steal our mobile contact list, SMS, very easily. Joker communicates with various advertisement sites and grabs our mobile SMS, contact list, various information from them which is enough to make your private information viral. In June of this year, researchers first learned about the Joker malware. Joker malware can take access to our device's SMS and through that access they can know our mobile's contact list. In addition to doing damage itself, Joker malware also launches subscriptions to other malicious apps so that other malware attacks are sufficient to attack our phones.
