At the time of harvest, even with extra money, the agricultural laborers could not meet, and had to face difficulties during the harvest. At present, as a result of the free use of agricultural machinery, all types of crops are being harvested besides paddy very easily. It is a machine called combined harvester which can be used to harvest crops very easily. Along with harvesting, threshing, threshing and bagging of paddy can be done simultaneously by the combined harvester. Combine harvesters have been in the market of our country for a long time, but Yanmar combine harvesters have gained a place in our country last year. Recently ACI of Bangladesh has brought commercial combine harvester in the market.
Various young agri-entrepreneurs have learned that traditional methods of harvesting or threshing, threshing, weeding and bagging require additional costs to be borne by farm laborers. Apart from this, there is a danger that 7 to 8 kg of paddy is lost out of every 100 kg of paddy due to harvesting by agricultural workers. At present, the government has taken various steps, among which bank loans are given at low interest in the agricultural sector, it is possible to bring the harvester under its control.
