Between the two mountains is a deep blue transparent lake as far as the eye can see. The water in all the reservoirs I have ever seen in Canada is clear, but this is something else. Later I came to know that in the lakes here, the rock particles float with the water of the glacier, which mix with the underwater sand and reflect with the light of all colors except blue. Its water basically looks deep blue. This lake gets completely frozen during the winter season. Skating on a frozen lake is a favorite pastime of many Canadians.

You can also take a long walk by the lake and take some pictures. You can sit on a rock and soak one foot in the water, it will feel good. But be careful, the water is very cold, yet the whole body can shiver. There is also a boathouse and jetty on one side. From there you can rent a canoe and explore the lake for an hour easily. It would be nice to be able to go up to the mountain and come back.

On the shores of Lake Louise is Canada's famous almost two hundred year old Fairmont Chateau on the Lake Hotel. Although it may seem incongruous to many, this two-century-old English-built grand and majestic building can be called an architectural landmark. In my opinion, this in no way detracts from the beauty of Lake Louise. You can have lunch in a restaurant of this hotel.
