You can go to Bandarban by direct bus from Dhaka. From different parts of Dhaka, Shyamli, Saudia, Unique, S. Alam, St. Martin Transport and Hanif etc. buses leave for Bandarban. The fare of these buses is Rs. 550 for non-AC and Rs. 950 for AC respectively. If you leave at 9-10 pm, you will reach Bandarban by 7 am. Also you can go to Chittagong from Dhaka by train or air and from there you can go to Bandarban easily.
In that case, two buses named Pubali and Purbani leave for Bandarban from Baddarhat in Chittagong. Both these buses will cost Tk 220 per person.
You can also see milanchari on your way to Shailprapat, Nilgiris or Chimbuk Hills by hiring a special bus service or moon car from Ruma bus stand in Bandarban district town.
