This Safina Park was built on a private initiative in 2012 on an area of about 40 bigha in Khejurtala, two villages of Godagari upazila of Rajshahi. The distance from Godagari to Safina Park is about 9 km. This entertainment center, the only one in the upazila, was reopened in 2018 after being closed for almost 2 years. Safina Park with its new recreational facilities has managed to gain popularity as an entertainment and picnic spot for visitors of all ages.
Surrounded by a variety of flowers, fruits and medicinal plants, the park has beautiful fountains and interesting sculptures of various animals and birds created artificially. For the entertainment of children there are swings, trains, swings, 3D cinema and kids sports zone. Visitors can also take a boat ride in the two lakes within the park if they wish. Fishing is also available in the lake subject to permission. Safina Park also has 2 picnic spots, conference rooms and stage to host any event. A market is also constructed inside the park to facilitate the shopping of the visiting visitors.

To visit Safina Park you have to come to Rajshahi first. Rajshahi can be reached from Dhaka by road, rail and air. Rajshahi can be reached by AC or non AC buses like Shyamoli, Hanif, Bablu Enterprise, Greenline, National Travels and Desh Travels from Gabtali, Abdullahpur and Kalyanpur in Dhaka. The bus fare will be between Tk 500 and Tk 1000 per person.
By train, you can go to Rajshahi by Silk City, Dhumketu, Banalta or Padma Express from Kamalapur Railway Station or Airport Railway Station. The price of the train ticket per person varies from Tk 375 to Tk 863 depending on the class. Also, depending on the need, you can go to Rajshahi by Bangladesh Airlines or United Air flight from Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport.
