The Dhaka Times Desk The iPhone's Face ID feature has lost popularity due to the deadly corona virus pandemic. Mac computers are going to come with a new biometric security feature to compensate for that deficiency.
Mashable also reported that Apple will soon add this feature to customers' home screens. PC system users of the licensed beta version of Mac OS are said to get this feature in the next update.
The feature will be added via a system with Apple's “TrueDepth” camera. Which will also help Face ID work on iOS operating devices. According to a report by Nine to Five Mac Point, the coding of the beta versions suggests that Face ID is coming to MacBooks very soon.
The presence of “Pearl Camera” in coding has also been seen this time. Like Apple's "Face Detection" and "Bio Capture", the iOS operating system is capable of keeping the "Pearl Camera" and Face ID notes. Although this new feature in MacOS can be seen from the coding, Apple has been avoiding the media's questions about the matter for a long time.
But the point of concern is that not all Apple customers may get this feature with the new update. Because the feature is not just about coding. Using Face ID requires some separate hardware.
Face ID will require Apple's updated generation of processing chips, along with coding and a "TruDepth" camera. Which was not offered in any previous generation Mac computer available in the current market.
