Today is the holy Eid-ul-Fitr

As the moon of the month of Shawwal was sighted yesterday evening, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across the country today on Friday. In this, all preparations for Eid-ul-Fitr are over. Various Eidgah authorities of the capital including National Eidgah and National Mosque Baitul Mukarram have also completed preparations for the Eid congregation. As always, the country's main Eid congregation will be held at the National Eidgah Maidan and five congregations will be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. Like every time, the country's biggest Eid Jamat was held at the Sholakia Eidgah Maidan in Kishoreganj.

Jatiya Eidgah: The main congregation will be held at the Jatiya Eidgah ground adjacent to the High Court at 8:30 am. Professor Maulana Mohammad Salahuddin Ahmed, Khatib of the National Mosque, will lead the Imam there.
