Quoting the police, Anandabazar newspaper reported that recently an FIR has been lodged at Osmanpura Police Station against an Indian Army soldier and 5 members of his family. It is known that the man from Aurangabad lives in Nashik. In February of this year, there was talk of marriage with the army jawan.
The bridegroom complained that the bridegroom was given 10 grams of gold along with 2 lakh rupees before the marriage. The suitor's demand was another 10 lakh rupees. Sub-inspector Sadhana Avahar, the investigating officer of the local police station, said, 'The father of the bride came to us very helpless as he could not meet the demand for money. A total of 6 people, including the husband, were charged with breach of trust and cheating under sections 420, 406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. More clauses may be added after investigation.'
