Three students of Lakshmipur Polytechnic Institute Mehraj Hossain Sagar, Shantanu Acharya and Yasir Arafat Hriday have been able to create this robot named Mina after long efforts. Ask the robot a question and it can answer. Meanwhile, after this issue was publicized, students and eager people of various schools and colleges of Lakshmipur district are flocking every day to see the robot. Currently the robot is housed in the Polytechnic Institute's laboratory.
It can be seen there, when the teachers are asking the robot what is the name of the father of the nation of Bangladesh? The robot is answering Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman effortlessly. Where is the birthplace of Bangabandhu, the date or when of Bangabandhu's birth, what is the name of the current president of Bangladesh, what is the name of the prime minister of Bangladesh, the name of the national flower, fruit and bird of Bangladesh, the robot says everything correctly. Moreover, the robot can also sing different rhymes and songs.
Shantanu Acharya, a student, told the media that the robot was created to be used as a companion for children's entertainment and study. But it can also be used for home and shopping mall security. If there is a fire or fire accident in the house, this robot will sound the alarm and warn you through a call to the mobile phone. The current Awami League government is giving a lot of importance to technology, we took the initiative to develop this robot keeping in mind the benefit of people.
Electronics department head Sharif Sobhan said, I am surprised by the success of the boys. All the teachers of my department had enough support behind it. We think we can market the robot in a more modern and advanced way if we get sponsorship from a party.
Engineer Jaydev Chandra Saha, Principal of the Polytechnic Institute said, "Since I joined here, I have been giving importance to the education of the students and also the creation of anything." This robot is a reflection of that. He told the media that it will continue in the future.
