The Dhaka Times Desk A special CBI court has sentenced her parents to life imprisonment in this sensational case by convicting her parents as murderers in the much-discussed Aarushi murder case in India.
On Tuesday, the court of that country gave its verdict on the murder of 14-year-old girl Arushi Talwar. A special CBI court convicted Arushi's parents Talwar couple and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
The trial of Aarushi's murder started yesterday afternoon. Earlier on Monday, a special CBI court also convicted Arushi's father Rajesh and mother Nupur Talwar of murder and tampering with evidence.
Arushi's father Rajesh Talwar has been convicted under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code for murder, Section 201 for tampering with evidence and Section 203 for giving false information in connection with an offence. Arushi's mother Nupur Talwar was convicted under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code for murder and under Section 201 of the Indian Penal Code for tampering with evidence.
Earlier, Arushi's mother broke down in tears after being found guilty in a special CBI court in Ghaziabad. The crying did not stop even after going to jail. Talwar couple could not sleep all night. They didn't even eat properly.
It is to be noted that five years after the body of 14-year-old Arushi Talwar was recovered from her house in Noida area of Ghaziabad, India, the court convicted Arushi's parents Rajesh and Nupur of the crime of murder.
