Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary General Abdul Quader Mollah was normal and smiling until the moment before the execution.
His family members and relatives visited Quader Molla for the last time before the hanging. He also talks naturally with family members. Soon after the family members came out, the jail authorities told Quader Molla, 'Your death sentence will be executed on Thursday night itself. You prepare yourself mentally.' Then at 8:30 pm, the prison authorities took Quader Molla to take a bath.
Later, the jail authorities provided dinner to Kader Molla. This meal consisted of rice, beef, chicken and 3 types of vegetables. After eating dinner, he recited the Quran.
It is to be noted that all the preparations for the execution of Quader Molla were almost completed last Tuesday night, but due to the suspension of execution of the judgment, it could not be executed at the last minute. Later, when the review petition of the court was rejected, the jail authorities executed the verdict at 10:01 pm on Thursday.
