How much nothing is taught in our school curriculum. Most of the education is either moral or technical but there are some general life oriented lessons that we should learn from school.
Now let's know which jobs we should learn in school:
1) How to give a job interview:
We all have a purpose behind studying. This objective is to get education and become educated in education to get good job. However, many students feel uncomfortable going to the interview stage as they do not know about the job interview. Many people are afraid of interviews. However, if our school had informed the students about this in detail, then the fear of the job interview would have gone away.
2) Short wrong vision
There are many things around us which are often not tidy. But these are not visible to our eyes. If children can be given an idea about the minor defects from school, then they will easily see various irregularities on the roads of the country.
3) Self defense:
Our country is a violence prone country. No one knows when and where someone robs or throws bombs in this country. But if you know self-defense techniques, you can at least protect yourself or the people around you from the assailants.
4) Intelligence:
Any task can be done easily, no matter how difficult the task is by applying a little present intelligence. Therefore, provision of knowledge about present intelligence should be made from school itself.
5) How to tie a tie:
Ties are gentleman's fashion. Almost all smart professions require you to read a tie. So it is important to include tie education in the curriculum for all students while in school.
6) General knowledge:
Children should be taught by schools to be aware of the possible risks or consequences before or after doing any work. If not, children will continue to make wrong decisions or perform wrong actions in their lives, which will increase the possibility of various incidents in their workplace.
7) Cooking knowledge:
Everyone needs to know how to cook something. You are not always in contact with a cook! You may have to cook occasionally. So you should have an idea about cooking right from school.
8) Knowledge of sewing:
Basic knowledge of sewing is useful for all people. We have to read clothes all the time so sometimes we have to sew. Therefore basic knowledge about sewing is important from school.
9) Knowing Basic Coding:
The present age is the digital age. Now Bangladesh is becoming a digital Bangladesh day by day. Now you must have an understanding of basic computer coding. So students need to be given ideas about basic coding right from school. Q-Basic – can start with programming education.
10) Dog attitude:
Dogs are not rarely seen on the streets of Bangladesh. It is often the case that many people are injured by dog bites on the streets of Bangladesh. If you understand the dog's attitude or body language, you can warn yourself before the dog bites. So our country's schools need to include special lessons on understanding dog body language.
