The Dhaka Times Desk There is no substitute for vitamins for proper functioning of the body. Vitamin C has many roles in keeping the body healthy including keeping teeth and bones fresh, preventing disease. According to a recent study, lack of vitamin C in the body causes bleeding in the brain, i.e. stroke.

Pontiacillo University Hospital, France Working and Principal Investigator of the study Stephen Vannier According to him, the deficiency of vitamin-C leads to the possibility of stroke i.e. bleeding in the brain
Vitamin C lowers blood pressure as well as regulates the health of blood vessels. As a result, vitamin C deficiency is thought to be linked to increased blood pressure and stroke.
At the beginning of the study, 65 people who had experienced a stroke or brain hemorrhage were selected and compared with 65 completely healthy people. Vitamin-C levels are measured in everyone's blood A blood sample test revealed that 41 percent of these people had normal vitamin-C levels, 45 percent had decreased levels, and the remaining 14 percent had vitamin-C deficiency.
All stroke subjects were deficient in average levels of vitamin C. It can be confirmed that the association of vitamin C deficiency with brain haemorrhage is clear. However, a tendency to high blood pressure, alcohol consumption and weight gain can increase the risk of stroke.
The study will be held in Philadelphia from April 26 to May 3 of the American Academy of Neurology To be presented at the 66th Annual Session.

So people who are deficient in vitamin C should consume fruits rich in vitamin C – lemons, papaya, broccoli, strawberries to avoid the risk of brain haemorrhage.
