First separate the pith from the tamarind. Then grind the tamarind in a bowl. Mix 8 cups of cold water with the rolled tamarind.
Now add tamarind with sugar, bit of salt, dry chilli powder, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves and a little salt. Now blend the mixture in a blender. For those who don't have a blender, shake it well and keep it for 10 minutes.
Now strain the mixture through a sieve into another container. The delicious tamarind syrup has become thick. Now pour into a glass with crushed ice and serve on the table.
