The Dhaka Times Desk Narayanganj-5 Constituency Member of Parliament Nasim Osman passed away due to heart attack (Innalillahi wa ... Rajiun). He died at a clinic in Dehradun, the capital of India, at 1 o'clock in the morning on Tuesday. He was 62 years old at the time of his death.
MP Nasim Osman was born on 31 July 1953. During the Liberation War, he took suicide training in Dehradun, India. He was a presidium member of the Jatiya Party. MP Nasim Osman was suffering from diabetic disease. He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters and 1 son. Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad expressed deep grief over the death of MP Nasim Osman.
Notably, MP Nasim Osman is the elder brother of Shamim Osman. Nasim Osman was elected to the National Parliament 4 times (1986, 1988, 2008 and 2014).
