But Microsoft removed this feature in Windows 8.1.
But users can verify it in Windows 8.1 as well if they want. But in this case the user has to take this advantage in a slightly different way. Microsoft introduced this feature from Windows Vista. Although it could not show the exact measurements of a PC, it was still a useful tool for checking hardware performance. Citing the Senate, it is known that Microsoft is removing this system from its new Windows operating system Windows 8.1. What the user needs to do to complete this process is:
1. First step: Windows 8.1 users will need to look at Windows' Run command from Promote to see this feature. Go to Windows Command Prompt and write winsat preop Then clicking ok will run the benchmark and a result will be saved to the PC as an XML file.
2. Second step: Then the user needs to open Windows PowerShell as an administrator. To find PowerShell you go to StartPage. There you will see a downward arrow. Click on it. A new page will open. Here you will find Windows 8.1 PowerShell.
3. Third step: Now open this powershell. Now write Get-WmiObject-Class-Win32-WinSAT there and press enter. It will parse the XML file. Then the result will be displayed in category form.
